Honorary Consulate of the Republic of San Marino in Lisbon
The emergence of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of San Marino in Lisbon took place in two phases. The first concerns the assumption of the position of Honorary Consul by Dr. José Góis Chilão (PhD).
The second with regard to the inauguration of the Consulate facilities that took place at the prestigious Hotel Palácio Estoril

On one of the many occasions on which we had the honor and privilege of sharing with Ambassador Mauro Maiani, who died on October 31, 2021, in Dubai, at 64 years of age. This time, on October 1, 2019, at the entrance to Palazzo Pubblico, in the Serene Republic of San Marino , to watch together the inauguration of "dei Eccellentissimi Capitani Reggenti".
Inauguration of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of San Marino
The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of San Marino was opened on July 17, 2019 at the historic Hotel Palácio Estoril, Hotel Golf & Spa.
The opening and unveiling ceremony of the shield was witnessed by several individuals, in which the presence of Dr. José Góis Chilão (PhD), Honorary Consul of the Republic of San Marino and Senior Partner of GCAR Advogados and Dr. Pedro Morais Soares, President of the Union of the Parishes of Cascais and Estoril.


Dr. José Góis Chilão (PhD) assumes the position of Honorary Consul of the Republic of San Marino
Dr. José Góis Chilão (PhD) assumed the post of Honorary Consul of the Republic of San Marino on 19 November 2018, in a ceremony attended by the Captains Regents of the Republic of San Marino, His Excellency Mr. Mirco Tomassoni and His Excellency Mr. Luca Santolini.
At the time of the inauguration, the Honorable Consul referred that it was with the greatest honor, pleasure and dedication that he accepted the position of Honorary Consul of the Republic of San Marino.
